Learn to code
like it's a game.

HTML, CSS, and JavaScript taught through earned XP — not subscription retention tricks. When we license CodeQuest for your institution, you get the curriculum, the teacher dashboard, and the source.

CodeQuest teaches HTML, CSS, and JavaScript through structured quests and earned XP — a game loop applied to the web development curriculum. In-browser code execution with instant feedback, and no environment to configure. Quests build progressively; nothing is left unexplained before it is used.

What you get

What do you get with CodeQuest?

A named system of 4 components — not a list of features, a description of what the software actually does.

Quests

Structured Missions

HTML, CSS, and JavaScript taught through sequential quests — each one builds on the last, nothing is left unexplained before it is used.

Progress

XP and Badges

Visible, earned progress. Experience points and badges reward completing real work — not logging in, not clicking through, not gaming the system.

Execution

In-Browser IDE

Write and run code directly in the browser with instant feedback. No environment to set up, no package manager to learn, no terminal to configure.

Classroom

Teacher Assignments

Assign specific quests to students, set deadlines, and review submitted code from a single dashboard. Student accounts see only what is assigned to them.

Named proof

Who built this, and why does it work?

HTML, CSS, and JavaScript — the web stack — taught through earned XP without subscription retention dark patterns. Progress is visible and meaningful.
