About
The operator behind 3D3D.
Ken shows up, solves the problem, and documents the work. The story matters because the work depends on judgment under pressure.

Story
The storm did not make him. It revealed what was there.
February 2016. First time offshore. Two-man crew aboard Challenger with Christopher Stanmore-Major. The forecast called for 45 knots. The storm delivered far more.
The hatch failed. Diesel spread through the bilge. Systems came loose. Ken held the helm through the night and kept solving the next problem in front of him.

Testimonials
The work speaks.
“If I had a 3D printer, you'd take a nap and wake up to the part done.”
“We were delighted and relieved to have you aboard Ken. Your extensive knowledge of the vessel was essential to getting us to Fastnet, and I know all of the others felt the same way as I about your invaluable assistance. Fair winds my friend.”
